weekend brew day
« on: October 22, 2017, 05:22:50 PM »
Hi folks I intend to have a brew day next weekend, I have a 3v system and fancy a beer for Xmas, does anyone fancy joining me. I propose we use the same ingredients, but brew it how you like and compare the results. My preference would be for a lighter beer citra gold is a good un, not much ingredients (currently drinking Porter and stout, along with a bitter) but am willing to give anything a go, just so long as it’s not soured with rancid yacks milk or the like or take 18 months to be at it’s best.
Let me know by Thursday.
Cheers

I am brewing at the weekend Stuart but not decided on what yet but I think it will be a red ale, I have 2 recipes I am considering one is an irish red ale and the other a welsh red ale  ;D The irish red ale uses irish pale malt, which I have got to get in and the Welsh ale the recipe can be seen here:

Hi Dan, due to unfortunate circumstances I may not be able to brew this weekend, and I might not be able to brew for a while.
